Setting up shop

Covid-19 has of course curtailed my work travels recently. In fact it is over 20 years since I have been so homebound and I am entering over six months since I last traveled overseas. Thankfully work itself has not stopped and I am busy as ever with the help of the Internet!

As some background we moved our home-base from Thailand to New Zealand over two years ago and around a year ago explored the option of building a new house. After finding some land and many months of planning we were about to kick off in April. However New Zealand entered Level 4 local down and all possibility of starting the build were delayed.

So what was mean’t to start before has now begun. We are based in Whakatane in the Bay of Plenty. From our land we look out to Whakaari (White Island) and Moutoroa Island (Whale Island). Beautiful!
