Two nights at end of October 2015 and my forth and fifth time to see U2. The first time long ago on the Unforgettable Fire tour and two times during the 360 tour in Sydney and Vancouver. This time was ‘Innocence and Experience’ at the O2 in London. Having tried to avoid finding out too much about the show and although having high hopes I was still more impressed with the whole experience that U2 put together. From stunning use of the central expanding screen to a cut down simple staging with four guys playing it is a journey of U2 from the autobiographical songs from the latest album ‘Songs of Innocence’ to a wide song selection from the whole U2 catalog. They play at the main stage, B stage and from within the screen; there is always something new to view and angle to which experience it all from.
Seeing two nights in a row was also not repetitive at all with a number of song changes and with observing moments that were missed I think it would be good for another view(s) in a different city/country.
