There is so much to hate and get irritated about United Airlines. The screwed up bookings, the complete demoralisation of the staff, the old planes! Shall I go on?
However after considering doing a ‘grumpy old man’ rant about United losing my upgrade request I decided to share a little bit of joy on my Tokyo to San Fransico flight. I did indeed get an upgrade, just, but the spark of joy came at meal time. After the usual main course choice between the Filet Mignon or the Bento Set (7 years and still the same choices!) came dessert.
Not a rock hard ice cream tub but a ice cream trolley with options of nuts, chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce and cherries. And Ice Cream not too soft not too hard! Fantastic!
